Problem
As companies grow and evolve into large enterprises, their payroll systems often struggle to keep up with increased demands, leading to issues such as payroll errors, compliance challenges, and inefficient processes.
Many enterprises in India are seeking advanced payroll solutions that can offer accuracy, scalability, and seamless integration with existing HR systems.
Objectives
This project involves creating a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy for RazorpayX Payroll, designed to showcase its enterprise readiness. The project includes a video and physical assets for an exclusive event attended by CHROs and CEOs, as well as for use at future events.
The video serves as a social asset and a key presentation piece, highlighting RazorpayX Payroll’s advanced features and integrations with HRMS platforms.
The Output
Event Collaterals
Roles & Responsibilities
As the lead designer on the project, I spearheaded the project from concept to execution.
Positioning
RazorpayX Payroll initially served small and medium businesses but has since evolved to meet the needs of enterprises. With enterprises being a distinct target segment, the goal was to position RazorpayX Payroll as the leading solution for them. To make the launch more engaging, CXOs were encouraged to assess their payroll automation level & see which processes they could improve using an assessment.
Storyboard & Visual Style
Each team member developed their own interpretation and approach for weaving the story through visuals.
A mix and match of different ideas and concepts was selected and I created a singular storyboard, which was presented to the stakeholders.
After aligning on the approach and the concepts behind the different frames of the story, three key frames were selected to explore various visual directions.
A consensus was reached on the most effective style to pursue. And the entire storyboard was developed to align with the selected visual approach, ensuring a cohesive presentation.
....and then it was time to tackle the next phase: Animation.
With the storyboard complete, it was time to switch gears to video creation. Assets were organized and moved to After Effects.
Creating the animations included multiple caveats & nuances of motion. The animation process included advanced techniques, such as character rigging, to add a dynamic and engaging element to the video. This approach was a significant departure from previous projects and set a new standard for motion design within the company.
The Output
Many enterprises in India are seeking advanced payroll solutions and a panel discussion featuring CHROs from enterprise organizations would effectively highlight the new positioning for RazorpayX Payroll.
To promote the product and increase industry awareness, RazorpayX organized an event with CHROs. This required the creation of various assets, including brochures, posters, and standees.
I took the ownership of this activity and
Created all the relevant assets in print ready format.
Meticulously planned & co-ordinated with the printing vendor to get the print assets on time.
Additionally, I also worked on the presentation deck to enhance the visuals & story telling to make it more engaging.
The Team
Delivering high-class output and seeing them to success would not be possible as a one woman team. This project was a collaborative effort involving the marketing, product, and design teams. While I led the animation, storytelling, visual aesthetics and project management, I worked closely with marketing stakeholders to ensure our storyline and overarching brand vision stood out. I also guided my fellow designers on the visual look and design language, ensuring all collaterals looked cohesive and unified.
Outcome and Reflection
The project wrapped up with a great event where the video and assets got positive feedback from everyone who attended. The engagement metrics were impressive too.
This experience highlighted how important it is to stay flexible and keep learning in a fast-paced creative setting. It also showed how crucial good communication and teamwork are for hitting project goals. Overall, this project was a big milestone for me, proving I can lead, innovate, and deliver great creative solutions.
